Soapbox Diaries is a platform to have authentic conversations about real stories of race, resistance, and resolve. I was frustrated and angry over national and statewide politics following the election in 2016, but I wanted an outlet besides just responding on social media.
I wanted to create a space where we as Black people could have meaningful dialogue about a variety of topics that face our community. Not a sanitized conversation, but rather unapologetic discussions around our lived experiences.
Soapbox Diaries is a podcast and blog that seeks to give voice to our emotions, but also seeks to bring solutions to the forefront where we can channel that energy.
